Prototype to Production

The Nuefoil project marks a new chapter for RT Prime — evolving from a trusted manufacturing partner into a product innovator. Unlike traditional programs where RT Prime serves in a contract manufacturing role, Nuefoil represents our in-house venture into product development, combining expertise across materials, electronics, and mechanical systems.

Born from a shared passion for eFoiling and marine innovation, the goal was to create an eFoil board that was durable, family-friendly, and accessible for riders of all skill levels. Where traditional hard-shell boards risk damage from impact, Nuefoil’s inflatable drop-stitch core technology delivers stability and performance — without compromise.

The development program united a wide range of RT Prime’s manufacturing disciplines:

• Carbon fiber mechanical components for strength and lightweight control.
• CNC-machined aluminum parts, anodized for corrosion resistance in marine     environments.
• Custom injection-molded housings for structural integration and     waterproofing.
• Battery and electronic system design for power management and reliability.
• Rapid prototyping and iterative testing to refine hydrodynamics and     ergonomics.

Through iterative design, integrated engineering, and disciplined quality control, Nuefoil embodies the innovation RT Prime brings to every project — whether for a customer or our own.
